Tips Membuat Caramel Cake/Bolu Sarang Semut, Lembut dan Bersarang

 

Bolu karamel dikenal juga dengan nama sarang semut. Kue satu ini memiliki banyak rongga dan warna gelap layaknya sarang serangga. Kudapan tradisional ini digemari banyak orang. Rasanya manis dan empuk, bikin nggak berhenti ngunyah.

Bolu karamel sering dijadikan hidangan saat ada acara. Sebab, cara membuat sarang semut ini mudah dan nggak perlu banyak waktu. Bahan-bahan yang dibutuhkan juga mudah didapat, baik di pasar tradisional hingga modern dengan harga terjangkau.

Bolu karamel ini juga bisa dikreasikan dengan banyak cara dan bahan lain. Misalnya bolu karamel campur puding, diolah jadi ukuran mini, hingga kue-kue lainnya yang nggak kalah lezat.

 Bahan:

  • 250 g gula pasir
  • 300 ml air panas
  • 1/4 sdt garam
  • 100 g terigu
  • 60 g kanji
  • 1/2 sdt soda kue
  • 1/2 sdt baking powder
  • 4 butir telur, kocok lepas
  • 2-3 sachet SKM
  • 80 g margarin cair/ minyak goreng kualitas bagus atau mix margarin dan minyak
Cara:
  1. Panaskan gula diatas wajan dengan api kecil sampai cair dan berwarna kecoklatan (hati2 jangan sampai gosong supaya hasil kuenya gak pahit). Tambahkan air panas. Masak sampai gula larut Biarkan dingin
  2. Lelehkan margarin. Biarkannsampai dingin.
  3. Kocok telur dan garam dengan whisker cukup sampai agak berbusa dan garam larut
  4. Ayak terigu, tepung kanji , soda kue dan bp. Masukan telur dan cairan karamel, aduk dengan whisker sampai rata dan licin. Masukan SKM, aduk rata
  5. Masukan minyak/ margarin cair, aduk rata.
  6. Tuang ke dalam loyang yang telah dioles margarin dan ditabur tipis terigu (saya pakai loyang tulban ukuran 20 cm )
  7. Masukan langsung kedalam oven yang telah dipanaskan. Panggang sampai matang
